Spigot bush to fit all Land Rover 2.25 / 2.5 petrol and diesel engines, Series, 90/110, Defender, 1958-98. These bushes usually need soaking in oil before they can be used. Ours comes pre-soaked, so you can use it straight away.

This bush is often badly worn on Discovery engines (school run mums sitting in heavy traffic with first gear engaged and the clutch down) and is well worth changing as part of your TDi conversion. To remove the old bush, easiest way is to break it up with a sharp chisel (they are quite brittle). Be careful not to damage the crank, and wear eye protection. Then carefully tap the new bush in place, taking care not to distort it or burr the end over.
